Bulova have a really interesting quartz movement, and at the price point make this perhaps a poor man's Spring Drive option. Models I like so far: - 96B356 - 96B370 - 96B373 - 96B371 Not necessarily after a Chronograph here, but most of their non-chrono options don't look good to me. The 96B252 (or 96B257 in blue) is okay, but I'm not crazy about the hands. They've got lume, though. The newer, smaller Lunar Pilot (e.g. 98A305 or 96A299)(96K111 or 98K112) could be an option as well, but more expensive and maybe a bit chunky. I would almost put the Lunar Pilot in its own spot in the wish-list as a Speedmaster alternative. The Jet Star 96B414 is another option, I suppose. Good dimensions, too 40mm wide and 13mm high. Pretty new release, though, so it's one of the more expensive options. |
